Washington, D.C.—On Friday, the House passed the Final FY24 Funding Package by a 286-137 vote. The appropriations package did not include the House-passed provisions that would have defunded the World Health Organization (WHO). In addition, it would have required Senate ratification of any treaty or other legal instrument passed by the WHO.
Proponents of defunding and exiting the WHO warn that Congress's abject failure to hold firm on its intent to defund the WHO will have enormous consequences in the coming months. At the end of May, the World Health Assembly will meet to vote on two treaties that, together or individually , threaten to crush national sovereignty and personal medical freedoms.
The WHO, funded largely by private, wealthy stakeholders including Bill Gates and Big Pharma, is seeking the sole authority to designate public health emergencies of international concern (PHEICs) and impose and enforce member states' response to such an emergency. The global power grab will be made possible by passing multiple amendments to already existing International Health Regulation. These are, in fact, a treaty, because they are a written, legally binding agreement between nations. The passage of a new Pandemic Preparedness, Prevention, and Response agreement (aka a treaty) will also give the World Health Organization unprecedented powers on a global scale. Both treaties, working together or as stand-alone conventions, will completely disrupt, transform, and reset how the world currently operates.
"If you think the travel restrictions, tracking controls, and mandates we experienced during COVID-19 were bad when the WHO was simply an international health advisory group, you haven't seen anything yet. An empowered and weaponized WHO is the world's worst nightmare," said Frank Gaffney, co-founder of the Sovereignty Coalition. "These treaties will usher in global tyranny at the hands of the WHO's Director General, Tedros Ghebreyesus, an unaccountable bureaucrat suspected of committing genocide in his own country, Ethiopia, and who came to his position with the significant support of Communist China. During COVID-19, Tedros promoted the "China model" of lockdowns, mandates, and extreme social controls that cost millions their freedoms and livelihoods will be imposed all the more upon the world."
"We can be sure of more censorship, restrictions on travel, digital IDs, mandates for vaccines and other health protocols, enforced by an ever-expanding authoritarian and non-representative global government that cares more for bugs than human life," said Reggie Littlejohn, who co-founded the coalition with Gaffney. “Together, these will trap us in a “Digital Gulag,” from which there will be no escape. Once we have lost our national sovereignty and personal medical freedom, it will be nearly impossible to get them back.
"An empowered WHO will be able to unilaterally designate a public health emergency of international concern (PHEIC) regarding viruses and the like, as well as other non-pathogen issues like gun violence, mental health and climate change. Member states will also be expected to “prevent” mis- and disinformation, track and surveil their citizens. The Pandemic Treaty requires the sharing potential pathogens of concern to a global public network. According to Dr. Meryl Nass, such a system would be ripe for abuse and will likely increase the number of lab leaks and pandemics we will face going forward,”
In an unprecedented abdication of authority, the Senate voted along party lines last year to not require Senate review and ratification of the PPRP treaty, which they are obligated to do per the Congressional Research Service. The WHO provision stripped from the Final FY24 Funding Package before its passage would have required the Senate to do its job.
Dismayed by this act of Congress, anti-WHO activists are hoping state-level authorities will step in to disrupt the WHO's global governance gambit. Per the 10th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution, “the powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.”
Indeed, some states are moving forward with bills and resolutions to do just that. Yesterday, the Louisiana Senate unanimously passed by a vote of 37-0 a bill to the state House that prohibits international organizations from exerting authority or influence within the state.
The bill asserts, “No rule, regulation, fee, tax, or mandate of any kind of the World Health Organization, United Nations, and the World Economic Forum shall be enforced or implemented by the state of Louisiana or any agency, department, board, commission, political subdivision, governmental entity of the state, parish, municipality, or any other political entity.”
Members of the public may engage with Sovereignty Coalition experts with special guests, including the co-sponsors of LA Senate bill 133, via Spaces on X hosted by Dr. Kat Lindley at 7 p.m. ET tonight.
Citizens are asked to read and sign the American Sovereignty Declaration at SovereigntyCoalition.org. The coalition is also hosting weekly Zoom meetings on Mondays at 8:00 p.m. ET to further inform the public about the threats emanating from WHO reforms.
This just happened today: In response to what the UN, WHO and WEF are trying to do to this country, Louisiana's (LA) Senate just voted unanimously to not allow the power or jurisdiction of these three organizations within the state. Now this hopefully will be adapted by the 49 other states. It's LA Senate bill 133 if anyone else wants to call or write to their Senators/Congress.
