Support Legislation to Withdraw U.S. PERMANENTLY from the WHO

We are elated that President Trump fulfilled his campaign promise on the first day back in office to defend our national sovereignty and personal medical freedoms by withdrawing America from the corrupt and incompetent World Health Organization (WHO). This action is a first and necessary step in response to its past misconduct and efforts to use public health emergencies to establish world government.
Such unacceptable actions are not simply a product of the WHO’s present disastrous leadership and its pursuit of treaties that threaten our constitutional Republic and liberties. They reflect the WHO’s agenda from the get-go as its first Director General, Brock Chisholm, made clear in the following quote: “To achieve world government, it is necessary to remove from the minds of men their individualism, loyalty to family traditions, national patriotism, and religious dogmas.”
Unfortunately, unless Mr. Trump’s action is codified in law, a future president can subject us once again to the sovereignty-crushing dictates of the WHO’s top, and wholly unaccountable, international bureaucrat. This is not speculation. It is precisely what Joe Biden did when he reversed on Day One of his administration President Trump’s wise first-term executive order ending our membership in the organization over its disastrous prescriptions that greatly exacerbated the COVID-19 pandemic.
Rep. Andy Biggs has introduced such legislation, entitled the “WHO Withdrawal Act” (H.R. 54), to repeal the 1948 law approving U.S. membership in the World Health Organization. Enactment of such legislation would prevent a future president from putting the U.S. back into the WHO by executive order.
